And so begins the annual event of video bloggers everywhere cutting together their own movie montage summing up the year that was. This is the first one I have found so while it may not be the best it definitely got out early. It makes some fun connections though. 166 films.

So yes, it has been over two months since my last video post. But really, what is a 'week'? Time is relative after all. If you are still reading and haven't closed the tab then enjoy this video. It was emailed to me at 3am one night. The email address tracked back to somewhere in Nigeria. I have no idea what it means but I know it's special.

So this is ostensibly another Nokia ad showing off their phones (wanna give me something free Nokia, go on!), but regardless of that it is simply the most elaborate piece of stop motion animation I have ever seen. Constructed by a fellow at the famous Aardman studios, this is really brilliant stuff.

This great super-cut basically chops together the climaxes of 71 different films. Essentially the biggest spoiler video ever made but since the films aren't directly identified in the video it's not too much of an issue. Just watch it all right...
